I don't want to know...

...who won cross worlds. I'm hoping to catch a replay on cycling.tv tomorrow so if you read this, know who won the race and speak to me with regularity please zip it.

Addition update: I've worn my fingers raw working on the addition over the past two weeks. Not one ride or run in that time. The floor is done and looks great. The fireplace is tiled but no grout yet. The mantel is waiting for the tile to be finished. I'm behind where I wanted to be but I still have time. Most importantly, the tv is in and it is spectacular.

Tile: Isn't this yet another house project that you can pay someone to do,thus freeing time for you to do things that you enjoy. Cripes, it's like that plumbing project of yours....

my time isn't worth that much. I don't enjoy doing the work, I do enjoy the outcome, knowing that I did it, and justifying new toys with the money I save not paying others to do something I'm capable of.

Didn't we have this conversation already?!

Yes we did, and you're still wrong. Pay someone to do it for you and spend the time you gain with your wife and kids. They're worth that, right?

Your "justification" sounds more like you getting around saying that you're a cheapskate.

Speaking of which, did you watch Tim Thomas at the All-Star game...with his goofy grin? I loved it. He enjoyed hisself so much.

I can accept the fact that I'm a cheapskate as well as someone who does derive somepleasure from accomplishing/learning something new myself. It's win-win in that regard. Also... nothing gets done until the kids are in bed. Ali... well... she just has to deal sometimes.

Grouted the tile tonight. Looks good. I got to post a picture.

Tim Thomas is a cheapskate? Ohh... skate, I get it. I missed the All Star game and generally speaking hate all things Boston Bruins. I'm a Red Wings guy from way back in the day.

Stealing images and bandwidth from other sites is considered bad form. This time you get a warning, next time I'll put a virus in the image and you can explain the reason to your site visitors.

Hey anon - You're welcome for any click throughs that your wonderful site may have gotten. So let me get this straight, linking (not stealing) to your searchable image is bad form, but replacing that image with what you put up is good form? Get of your high horse internet boy.

To others - sorry that Mr. Anderson here takes this stuff so seriously. Hopefully that picture wasn't up that long.
